New Business Advisor (Adventure)

Responsible to: Product Manager
Hours: Full time
Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands
Package: On target earnings £30k
Job Summary
A target driven role, the New Business Advisor (NBA) is responsible for actively sourcing and generating new business and responding to incoming enquiries in line with agreed sales targets, plans and budgets. Focus areas will depend on the needs of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to the following:
· Generating new business. The NBA is responsible for actively sourcing and generating new business in line with agreed sales targets, the sales & marketing plan and budgets.
· Building relationships with customers and delivering excellent customer service. The NBA is responsible for sourcing, developing, building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure the best possible service is provided.
· Administration. The NBA is responsible for the administration of all enquiries and bookings, until the point of confirmation at which point the administration is passed over to the appropriate Tour Organiser, following the handover procedure.
· CRM Management. The NBA is expected to ensure the CRM is kept up to date, in line with procedures.
· Internal Liaison with other staff (especially Marketing, Transport and Tour Organisers) to ensure accuracy of quotes to customers
· On call. The NBA is expected to support with our 24 hour support line during the season, on a rota basis.
· Meetings. The NBA may be required to visit schools to support the sales process.

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills

· Sales experience
· Customer service experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Full UK driving licence
· Self-motivated

Desirable Knowledge, Experience and Skills

· Experience within the school travel industry
· Telesales experience
· A passion for Adventure
